Is there a way to somehow uninstall the game through one of the game's files or reinstall it? Sadly, the link to download the game file expired quite some time ago, and the vender on the 3rd party website is no longer registered on the site, so I'm afraid that I either need to contact EA for technical support or ask for a different option to get this game running, or I'm simply down $30 since I no longer have the option to download the game file from the source.

I purchased The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection as a digital copy from a 3rd party retailer for about $30 back in June of 2019, and the process of receiving the game digitally was quick and had no problems whatsoever.
